*COVID-19 and Social Distancing Update*
*Half Off all Online Sessions*
I want to do my part to ensure that help is there for people who need it right now. To help increase accessibility, I am reducing my standard rates for online counseling services by 50%, effective until May 15 at which time all services will return to standard rate (unless other arrangements have been made). Price reduction will be enacted for both new and established clients.
In order to enact social distancing in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, I have made the decision to move all clients to online or telephone appointments for the foreseeable future. I have used secure video conferencing for therapy work for a couple of years already, and find most clients are making the transition easily. Please call or text if you would like to learn more.
Hi, I’m Sabrina Merz. I am a Boulder psychotherapist. When we work together, you will benefit from my multidisciplinary and strengths based approach to counseling. You have innate wisdom that I can help you tap into, allowing you to find healing and direction toward building a life you want. I would be honored to help you identify and work towards your goals.
My conveniently located office in Boulder has easy access to Foothills parkway. Alternately, you may also choose to explore a variety of options out of my farm office near Nederland. This mixed method style of approach may increase your engagement and enjoyment. I enjoy my ability to offer equine therapy, and nature therapy in addition to traditional talk therapy in the office.
I am a Boulder psychotherapist. I have more than two decades of experience working with children and adults in educational and equine settings. My bachelor’s degree is from Adams State University. In addition, I earned a master’s degree from a CACREP approved program at Capella University. I am an LPCC and a member of the American Counseling Association. My practice is informed by my extensive experience with children and teenagers. Also, my background as an educator and mother of four kids. Coupled with this, I have worked with people from many walks of life. This includes children in foster care, families affected by domestic violence, parents, college students, talented and gifted kids, and lots of teens.
My work reflects many of my loves. Not only nature and horses, but also family and health. I am a fan of camping and adventuring. I love to explore the world. Also, meditating, yoga, horseback riding, and playing with my dog, Wilson. Additionally, as a participant with Boulder County’s Mounted Search and Rescue team, I am CPR and First Aid trained. I feel fulfilled within my life, and I would be honored to help you create your best life!
